City Hosted Quality of Life and Sustainability Forum

El Mirage, Ariz. — Oct. 21, 2009: The City of El Mirage welcomed residents and business owners to its first Quality of Life and Sustainability Forum at Riverview Elementary School Oct. 21

This informational forum was moderated by former US Congressman Matt Salmon, who was recently retained by El Mirage as a consultant, and included a welcome from the City’s Mayor, Michele Kern. Speakers discussed the historical and current topics related to Luke Air Force Base and the City, the City’s economic development opportunities, the F-35 fighter jet and various considerations being made by El Mirage and other cities, and the quality of life and sustainability of El Mirage.
